City Plumbing is a family owned business that was started in 1950 by Joseph Shanker.  In 1985 Joe's son, Scott, joined City Plumbing.  Growing up around the store, Scott spent many summers throughout his school years learning his father's business. After a short time practicing law, Scott decided that his heart was in the plumbing supply business. After Joe retired, Scott took over and enjoys running City Plumbing and helping customers every day.

Scott and his staff bring extensive knowledge to City Plumbing and are happy to help with any plumbing problem you may have big or small.
 
Wendy Shanker runs the accounting department. But don’t be surprised to see Wendy out front at the counter when she is needed.
 
We at "City" are proud to be in our 74th year of business. It is not a rarity for us to have served three generations of customers. We wouldn’t be around for so long without our terrific customers and we thank them all!
